The
Translation Research and Instruction Program (TRIP)
TRIP was founded in 1971 to promote the study of translation at
SUNY Binghamton. TRIP offers the following degree programs: a PhD
in Translation Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Translation,
and an undergraduate Minor in Translation Studies. It collaborates
with various Master's programs in Arts and Sciences, MASS in the
College of Community and Professional Affairs, as well as with
several doctoral degrees that can also focus in Translation Studies,
such as the ones offered by Comparative Literature, English, and
Philosophy Interpretation and Culture (PIC).
